CHARGE OF BLACKMAIL.
VELTHEIM RELEASED. Received October 25, 7.50 a.m. PARIS, October 24. Veltheim, who was arrested in Paris in September on an English extradition warrant, charged with attempting to blackmail Solly Joel to the extent of £16,000 has been released. The court held that there was insufficient evidence to justify his extradition.
