- Messrs Dalgety and Co., report on their Masterton stock sale yesterday as follow: The yarding did not come up to advetised numbers, two or three lines of sheep not coming forward, our entry comprising ewes with lambs at foot. In cattle there was some very nice young steers offered, also a very good line of three year steers, for which we had keen competition. We quote:—Aged ewes and lambs 20s to 21s, 3-year steers £6 2s, empty heifers £3 ss, 2-year steers £3 14s, 2yaar heifers £2 3s, cows in milk £2 iss to £3, yearling steers 35s to 40s, springing cows £4 13s, porkers £2.
