PREFERENCE IN TRADE.
RUDYARD KIPLING'S VIEWS. Received October 22, 12.22 a.m. OTAWA, October 21. Mr Rudyard Kipling, speaking at Toronto, advocated a close fellowship between Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, for mutual preference in trade. Mr Kipling added that Australia, South Africa and New Zealand offered a promise of markets worthy of serious attention.
