ENCOURAGING MARKMANSHIP.

At Levin, to-day, Captain Kebbell presented a handsome shield to the Wellington No. 3 Battalion uf Cadets for the encouragement of marksmanship at the annual competitions. The function was attended by the Hon. G. Fowlds and several members of Parliament.
