MASTERTON v.'GREYTOWN. The match between the Masterton and Greytown Clubs resulted in a win for the former by nine matches to nil. The individual scores were as follow, Masterton players being mentioned first in each instance:— C. C. Cox defeated N. Green —4 up 3 to play. A. B. Lawrence defeated W. H. Booth —6 up 4 to play. A. Bewley and A. B. Balfour- all square. W. H. L. Galwey defeated G. Cromie—3 up 2to play. W. P. James and W. Feast —all square. J. B. Henry defeated H. V. Halse —1 up. G. G. Aitken defeated S. Feast — 4 up 3 to play. F. H. Elcoate defeated H. Tocker —6 up 5 to play. H. P. Wynn-Williams defeated P. S. G. Ellice—B up 6 to play. A. R. Sclahders defeated J. Gray—--1 up. A. C. Paul defeated G. H. Wolters —8 up 7 to play.
MASTERTON CLUB. LADIES' AND MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIPS. In the semi-final of the Men's Championships, D. Donald defeated W. H. Robieson —6 up 5 to play. The final between D. Donald and C, Cox will be played this week. In the final of the Ladies' Championship, Miss J. Robieson defeated her sister, Miss E. Robieson, by 2 up and 1 to play, after a very even and interesting game. LADIES' ECLECTIC COMPETITION. (Dean McKenna's Trophy.) The scores in this competition were as follow Gross Net Score. H.
