The trotting track on the Showgrounds is in good order, and a large number of owners are making use of .it for training purposes. The horses out yesterday were:-Giggles, Tai (pony), Rockwood, Glory and Captain Spec. Tai did some good work, and put up very fair time. Giggles and Glory also did fair time. The latter is improving everyday. Rockwood shaped well, and did some very good work. It is stated that there are about seventeen trotters in the district in training for the forthcoming meeting of the Masterton Trotting Club.
