HAWKE'S BAY SHOW.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER, October 16. The Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's annual spring show opened to-day. The following championships were awarded:—Thoroughbred sire, T. H. Lowry's Royal Fusilier; draught entire, F. A. Breemer'a Lord Erskine; draught mare, J. W. Harding's Queen Agg; Shorthorn bull, Manager Mount Herbert Estate's Duke of Beaufort JII.; Lincoln ram and ewe, Hon. J. D. Ormond; Southdown ram and ewe, Nelson Bros.; Border Leicester ram, Nelson Bros.; English Leicester ewe, Douglas McLean; Berkshire boar and sow, E. White; Yorkshire: sow, E. White; Tamworth sow, E. White.
