His trainer says that the horse will start in the Cup, but his chance of victory is not so bright as before the accident. The market is very uneven owing to the uncertainty of a couple of supposed starters. Others are reported to be amiss. Apologue has baan supported for a fair amount at 7 to 1 against and then shortened. The closing- prices were—o to 1 against Poseidon, 6 to 1 Apologue, S to 1 Ebullition and Welcome Trist, 10 to 1 Bendigo. 12 to 1 Ellis, lolain and Subterranean.
