Wo are pleased to learn Mint tin.' Mastertoii Borough Council are :it last taking final ttops in regard 1.0 tlio of the swimming baths. There was nothing, of course, to prevent the Council from having the work completed months :v f xo, because the expenditure was authorised lontf :itfo by the ratepayers, and the necessary money has been available for some considerable time past. However, there is now some prospect of the work being carried out at a comparatively early date. We understand that a Borough official has been instructed to draw plans and prepare .specifications, and from this fact we assume that the day is not far distant when the baths will really be in existence.
