A HIGH DUTY TO PERFORM.
PRIEST AND PERMIT. Received October 13, 4.25 p.m. PRETORIA, October 12. The renewal of a temporary permit held by a Hindu priest at Johannesburg has been refused, and he has been ordered to instantly quit the colony. He declines to obey the order on the ground that he has a higher duty to perform.
