QUACKS AND QUACKERY.
(By Telegraph—Parliamentary Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, October 10. The report of the Select Committee on the Quacks and Quackery Bill has been the subject of considerable discussion among members, and strong representations are being made to the Government to introduce a Bill dealing with the subject. In view, however, of the large amount of important business that has yet to be transacted, it is considered that a short measure dealing only with the advertising of fraudulent "cures" and specifics would be sufficient for the presei leaving a more comprehensive mer.sure for next session.
