MR KEIR HARDIE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 10. The Mayer was asked at the City Council meeting, to-night, if he intended to give Mr Keir Hardie a public reception. His Worship replied in the affirmative, and stated he did not personally accept as absolutely accurate the cabled reports of Mr Keir Hardie's utterances in India. The Mayor's attitude was supported by the Council.
