MR GEO. CATHRO'S COMPANY.
In the Town Hall, on Thursday and Friday evenings, Mr Geo. Cathro's Company will stage "The World of Transgression." The play is said to be romantic, thrilling, and sensational, and is particularly spectacular. A contemporary says:—Mr A. L. Cropp will introduce magnificent gems o£ song. He was with Mr Geo. Musgrove's Royal Grand Opera Company, and possesses a baritone voice of surpassing sweetness. No finer art of vocalisation than that afforded by Mr Cropp could possibly be placed before musical enthusiasts. The comedy element is in the hands of Mr Bob Lloyd. He is indeed .a happy provoker of irrepressible merriment, and keeps his audience in roars of laughter. Mr Geo. Edwards, the society comedian, is a finished artist of exceptional calibre, and the Misses Cora and Queenie Jacomb supply the incidental instrumental items. The box plan is open at Miss Rive's.
