MASTERTON CLUB. The first rounds of the championships will be played next Saturday. Entries for both men's and ladies' championships will close with the Secretary on Thursday morning next. The drawings for the Second-Class Medal Handicap (36 holes), to be played next Saturday and on the following Saturday, are as follow: Saturday players-E. J. Mirams plays A. C. Paul, G. G. Aitken plays P. Gordon, E. L. Holmwood plays E. - Rawson, C. Perry plays R. J. Bird. A. P. Rovdhouse plays G. W. Arlidge, F. Winter plays A. D. Low, J. R. Strachan plays C. N. Haslam, M. Martin plays E. B. Waddington. Thursday players D. McKenzie plays A. Caselberg, D. Caselberg plays J. Caselberg. This 'match will decide the winner of the captain's prize.
