RACING.
MARLBOROUGH RACING CLUB. The spring meeting of the Marlborough Racing Club will be held on the Riverlands racecourse, Blenheim, on Thursday and Friday, November 21st and 22nd. The stakes allotted •to the two days' racing amount to .£BSO. On the first day the sum of £440 is spread over eight races. The principal event is the Blenheim Handicap, of 100 sovs. The Flying Handicap has been allotted 70 sovs, and there is no race of less than 40 sovs in value. The stakes on the second day amount of £4lO, the principal event being the Riverlands Handicap of 80 &ovs. Nominations for all races will close with the secretary, Mr C. J. W. Griffiths, High Street, Blenheim, at 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 2nd. Weights will be declared on or about November 12th, and acceptances for the first day's races will close on November 16th, at 9 p.m.
