METEOROLOGICAL.

Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October Ist, was 31 points. Rain fell on 21 days in September. The maximum fa'l in 24 hours was 2 inches on the 13th, and the minimum 1 point on the Bth and 21st'. The total for the month was 6.24 inches, as against 2.92, 8.02 and 3.39 in September 1904, 1905 and 1906. The total for nine months is 47.34 inches, as against 30.91, 36.75 and 34.52 for corresponding period in 1904, 1905 and 1906.
