ANGLO-RUSSIAN AGREEMENT.
| Received September 30, 8.6 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, September 29. ' The Russ newpaper, published at Moscow, and which is Liberal in its tendencies, in an article on the Russo-British Agreement, hints that since Russia has definitely abandoned all idea of securing an outlet towards the Indian Ocean, compensation for this painful renunciation is likely to be given in a future convention with Great Britain concerning the Near East and the Straits of Constantinople.
