A LABOURITE'S OPINION. AN UPROAR CAUSED. Received September 25, 7.22 a.m. LONDON, September 24. On the occasion of the ceremony of unveiling a portrait of the late Michael Davitt in the Roscommon County Council Buildings. Mr John McGreevy, a prominent Labourite, was among the public present. He declared that the Irish party had degenerated into a penny-in-the-slot machine, the Directory of Dublin holdirg the key. This caused an uproar. Several fights took place between councillors and .the public. The police ejected those who caused the disturbance.
