Hogg asked the ActingMinister for Railways, in the House this afternoon, what had become of the foot-warmers on the WellingtonWairarapa line. Sir Joseph Ward replied as follows:—The use of footwarmers in. carriages on the WellingtonrNapierNew Plymouth section was discontinued from the 31st ultimo, as it was found that, owing to the advent of warm weather, passengers we*e not availing themselves to any extent of the foot-warmers provided, and they were therefore withdrawn from use until next winter,
