PUBLIC notice is hereby given that a poll will bataken on THURSDAY, tbe26ta day of September, 1907, on the following proposal ; "The Masterton Borough Council hereby give public notice thai such Council pioposes to raise a Special Loan of Twelve Thousand Pou< ds for :—New Buildings, Manufacturing Plant, Extension of Ma.ns and {-'ervicDii, Meters, Stoves and Fittings, and Contingencies for the Masterton Corporation Gasworks; and to make an annually recurricg Special Rate of 21-CUhs of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton as security for the interest and sinking fund in conmction with such loan. The whole of the lean is to be repayable on the 31st day of December, 192 G. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan or the first year's interest of the loan during the construction of tha said works.
