All Red,' Swimming Belt and Gold Crest went a mile together. .The former had the advantage at the end. The tima was lmin 47sec. Muskerry held Ellerton safe over a mile. Comedian, Le Beau, and Goldbeater galloped a miie, the latter beating Le Beau, Comedian tailing off slightly. Kuroki and Waione n went two solid rounds, the last seven furlongs occupying lmin 36sec. White Star had a bit the best of Xavier at the end of a six furlong spin, the last five furlongs taking lmin 7sec. Dusky Morn and Solus sprinted a half-mile in 53sec, similar time being recorded by Explode and Mont Pelier. In a gallop Yeulba covered a mile in lmin 51Jsec. Downfall, with Daisy Paul as companion, ran a mile. The former galloped nicely, and drew away from Daisy Paul, but the latter cut off some lengths at the bend into the straight, finishing slightly ahead of the colt in lmin 49sec. Finery slipped over half a mile in 51sec. Sardonyx jumped the hurdles well. Wairarapa, Sylvan Park and King's Birthday ran a mile together, the lattsr having a bit the best of the finish, the time being lmin 50sec. Fishermaid beat St. Bill and Bobricoff over six furlongs, cut out in lmin 21 4-sec. Idolatress, Miss Vera, Belario, Yosami, Ancyle, Signor, Maniapoto, Mulga Bill and several others did serviceable work.
