AN INTERESTING CASE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. ELTHAM, September 23. An interesting case was before the Court to-day. Fred. Fontanella was twice tried ac the Supreme Court for the theft of £3l 10s from a safe in the Coronation Hotel, eadi jury failing to agreu. ■ R. H. Campbell, a former licensee, was to-day sued for the money alleged to have been wrongfully taken or received. Mr Turnbull, S.M., gave judgment for the plaintiff, and fixed the security for appeal at £7O.
