A SENSATIONAL AFFAIR.
AMERICAN BUILDING SCANDAL. NEW YORK, September 20. A sensational affair is reported. In connection with the erection of the Capitol of Pennsylvania, at Harrisburg, which was stated to have cost thirteen million dollars, it transpires that the real value of the building and its contents is only four million dollars. As a consequence seven arrests have been made, those arrested including the architect, the builder, the contractor for the furniture, and an ex-State treasure!-.
