PUBLIC notice is hereby given a poll will ba taken, on THURSDAY, the 26ta day of September, 1907, on the following proposal;— "The Masterton Borough Council hereby give public nolice that such Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of Twelve Thousand-Pou ds for:—New BuildingF, Manufacturing Plant, Extension of M.vms and i-'ervicis, Meters, Stoves and Fittings, and Contingencies for the Masterton Curporation Gasworks; and to make an annually recurrirg Special Bate of 24-GUhs of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with sucb loan. The whole of the lean is to be repayable on the 31st day of Decern ber, 192tj. It is not proposed to.pay oat of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan or the first year's interest of the loan during the construction of the said works.
