PUBLIC notice is hereby given that a poll will ba taken on THURSDAY, the 26tti day of September, 1907, on the following proposal; •'The Masterton Borough Council hereby give public notice that such Council pioposes to raise a Special Loan of Twelve Thousand Pou> ds for New Buildings, Manufacturing Plant, Extension of Mams and Fervicss, Meters, Stoves and Fittings, and Contingencies for the Masterton Corporation Gasworks; and to make an annually recurring Special Rate of 24-G4ths of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton as security for the interest and sinking fund in countction with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable on the 31st day of Decern ber, 192(3. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan mcneys the cost of raising the loan or the first year's interest of the loan during the construction of the said worka. The Polling Booths are situated as follows: Drill Hall, Hall Street. Fire Brigade Station, Queen Street, (Kuripuni Branch). Polling hours from 9 a.m. in the forenoon to 6 in the afternoon. It.
