AUCKLAND, September 18. The teachers in the employment of the Auckland Education Board have been largely affected as well as the scholars by the epidemic of influenza that is visiting the district. The Chairman reported at to-day's meeting of the Board that leave of absence had been granted to 34 teachers, and of that number 26 were still suffering.
