PUBLIC notice is hereby given that-a poll will be taken on THURSDAY, tbe26tu day of September, 1907, on the following proposal;— "The Masterton Borough Council hereby give public notice that such Council pioposes to raise a Special Loan of Twelve Thousand Poui ds for:—New Buildings, Manufacturing Plant, Extension of Mams and Services, Meters, Stoves and Fittings, and Contingencies for the Masterton Corporation Gasworks; and to make an annually recurring SpecialEate of 24-6 iths of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. Tne whole of the loan is to be repayable on the 31st day of Decern ber, 1926. It is not proposed to pay out of the loan moneys the cost of raising the loan or the first year's interest of the loan ! during the construction of the said works. The Polling Booths are situated as follows: Drill Hall, Hall Street. Fire Brigade Station, Queen Street, (Ruripuni Branch). Polling hours trom 9 a.m. in the forenoon to 6 in the afternoon. K.
