Messrs Dalgety anil Co., Ltd., report having held a clearing sale on Mr S. Ream's farm, near Pleckville, on Thursday, 12th instant. A large number of settlers turned up notwithstanding the heavy rain. Bidding was brisk for all cows calving before the middle oi: November. Ninteeen of them averaged £7; average of those ill calf, £6 Os 9d; ten heifers in calf averaged £4; yearling heifers, 245; buil, £3 14s; sows with 7 and 4 suckers £6 Is to £4 .12s; bay mare, £l6 15s; chestnut gelding £7; aged pony, £4 10s; spring trap, £ls; hay, £l2; ewes in lamb, 14s lOd; hoggets, 15s 7d; ploughs, harrows, implements and • sundries brought fair values.
