A MATTER OF JURISDICTION.
By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 13. Mr Justice Denniston gave his decision, this morning, in the application by Alexander Patterson, draper, of Hawera, for the annulment of his bankruptcy on the ground that the Supreme Court at Auckland had no jurisdiction to adjudicate him bankrupt, although he himself filed the petition, there being a District Court in Taranaki. The application was dismissed.
