CRICKET.
A wedding of interest took place in Sydney the other day, when Mr R. H. Fox, who was with the M.C.C. team which played Wairarapa, at Masterton, last season, was married to Miss Grace Rees. sister toE-B. and J. S. Rees, well-known Adelaide cricketers. The bridegroom is a Maorilander by birth, having been born in Milton (Otago), but has been in Ei.gland for several years. Mr Fox met his bride when she was touring New Zealand with Williamson's Opera Company. For Notts this year A. Hallam cap tured 153 wickets at an average of 11 runs, and T. Wass 145 wickets at an average of 13 runs. A Fijian team is desirous of maKing arrangements for a visit to Australia during the coming summer for the joint purpose of playing matches and of witnessing the test or other matches of the English team.
