THE NORA NIVEN.

By Telegr-aph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 0. A Parliamentary party went, this afternoon, on an excursion in the harbour by the Nora Niven, a small steamer under charter to the Government for experimental trawling purposes. The Nora Niven will leave to-morrow for the Sounds, going first to the north of Stephens Island if the weather is favourable. If i o!; she will go into Tasman Bay. It is proposed to thoroughly test the West Coast grounds of the South Island, after which experiments will be made along the West Coast of the North Island.
