Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held a clearing sale on account of Mr "'A. Falkner, Kaiparoro, at his farm, on Thursday last. Although the day was wet and rough there was a good attendance of the public, who seemed to appreciate the lunch laid out for them in the Kaiparoro Hal!. All cows showing in calf brought very fair prices. There were two herds—one with dates given, average £5 16s lid; one where no datps could be given and a number of bad;ward calvers £4 10s, average; heifers in calf to £3 10s to £4 f»s. Tigs- Sows in pig and with litters, £4 to £G ss; empty small sows to 255; dips, small, lis GJ to 14=, larger sorts 17s to 225. i
