FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.
(By Telegraph—Parliamentary Correspondent). WELLINGTON, September 4. Mr Okey asked the Premier, in the House, this afternoon, whether it is the intention of the Government to bring in a measure dealing with friendly societies this session of ParliamentY The Premier replied as follows: "I have already stated that it is the intention of the Government to proceed with the measure this session."
