CARTERTON.

(From Our Own Correspondent). Monday. The Parkvale and Dalefield Dairy W- Factories commenced operations for the season this morning. Mr F. T. M. Kissel, 8.5. C.E., County Engineer, is preparing plans and specifications for a bridge, having a span of 44 feet, which it is intended to erect over the Korerau Creek at Tupurupuru, Gladstone. Lambing is in full swing in the district. The percentage of lambs this year will probably be equal to the percentage of former years. A match will take piace on the local reserve on Saturday afternoon next between teams representing the Rover B and Dalefield football teams.
