HORSE MAIMING AT GREAT WYRLEY.

Received September 2, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, September 1. Another horse was mutilated at Great Wyrley. There is great excitement in Staffordshire. (On August 27th a London cable stated that three cases of horse mutilation had occurred at Great Wyrley. In 1903 George Ernest Edalji was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to seven years' imprisonment for the outrages, but after he had gone to gaol there were further cases of maiming. Edalji was released a few months ago).
