INQUEST OH A CHILD.

By Telegraph—Press Association. ELTHAM, September 1. The inauest in connection with the ~ death of the 2\-year-old child, Martin, who died after eating German sausage, was resumed to-day. The report from the Government Analyst stated that he found no trace of ptomaine or irritant poisons in the stomach vomit or sausage, and a guinea pig, made to cat the sausage, showed no ill effects. The inflammation in the stomach might be due to the seasoning from the sausage. He thought, death might be due to acute indigestion. The medical evidence bore this out, and a verdict was returned accordingly.
