DECEASED WIFE'S SISTER.
LONDON, August 30. The Bishop of Salisbury, in a sermon in Trowbridge Church, said marriages under the Deceased Wife's Sister Bill would never be acknowledged as lawful marriages within the prohibited degrees. He exhorted his hearers to keep the law of the church, and not use the liberty the State had given them. They thus support what he believes will prove the unanimous view of the Bishops.
