CAMBRIDGE HORSE FAIR.
An important sale of horses is announced to be held at Cambridge, Waikato, on the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th of September, when the Farmers' Co-opeiative Auctioneering Company, Limited, (incorporating McNicol and C 0.,) will submit at auction 1000 horses of all classes. The Cambridge Spring Horse Fair is an annual event of considerable importance, and the entry for the coming Fair includes 200 unbroken light and draught horses, 400 broken heavy, medium and light draughts and 400 broken hacks, cobs and light harness horses. On the first day of the Fair, and in addition to the foregoing entry the firm will offer, under instructions from the Bank of New Zealand (on account of their disposal and delivery of properties) 204 horses of all classes, including 50 draught brood mares in foal to The Baron. Particulars of the entry will be found on page 8 of this issue, and is worthy of the attention of farmers and breeders generally.
