HIBERNIAN SOCIETY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 29. The half-yearly meeting of the Hibernian Society of New Zealand was attended by delegates from the whole' colony. The funeral fund totalled £6,465. A motion was carried to encourage Irish emigration to New Zealand. Bro. Dane was elected District President; Bro. M. J. Sheehan, Secretary ; Bro. W. Kane, Treasurer.
