CAVALRY COLLIDE.
A LANCER KILLED. Received August 28, 9.27 a.m. LONDON, August 27. During manoeuvres on the Berkshire Downs, horses of the Guards and Lancers collided during a charge. One lancer was killed and twenty injured. , General Sir J. D. P. French was nearly ridden down.
