THE OUTLOOK FOR FARMERS

Enquiries made to-day show that as a result of the recent rain, the 1 outlook for farmers in Otago has ' vastly improved, the prospects now I being decidedly bright. Good rains ' J appear to have fallen in all the roun- ' try districts, and it is expected there ' will be an abundance of feed, while ' the farmers will be able to push on ploughing, etc. Miners, who have suffered severely of late owing to the scarcity of water, will now have an abundant supply.
