IHURAUA NOTES.

(From ojr Own Correspondent.) The Valley is showing signs of the coming spring, and 011 the hillside can be heard the bleating of the young lambs. On Friday evening last, a concert was held here. There was a large attendance of settlers. The programme consisted of 24 items, all of which were highly appreciated. Several encores were demanded by the audience. The concert was brought to a conclusion with a farce, entitled, "Taken From the French," which met with warm applause. The room was cleared and supper was served. A dance was held afterwards -and dancing was kept up till the "small hours of the morning."
