Rabbits — Market quiet, but improving in tone. Sydney, large 12s 3d to 12s 6d, ex ship. Hides—The periodical sales were extremely depressed and business insignificant. Wheat—Very strong, and held for 6d higher. Another Australian cargo sold at 37s 3d. Frozen mutton Canterbury. 3 15-lGd; North Island, unchanged. New Zealand lamb— Canterbury, light sgd. medium s&d, heavy sd: Southland. 5Jd; North island, 5Jd New Zealand beef —Ox fores unchanged, ox hinds 3§d. River Plate sheep unchanged. Beef, forequarters 2g:l. hindquarters unchanged.
