TRAGEDY AT PALERMO.
A YSgpTH MURDERED. | ROME, August 23. 1 & and three men, all | convicts, were arrested at Palermo, 1 after depositing in a suburb and j jSstting fire to tiso trunks containing J the remains of an unknown murdered ;grou#i. One was burnt. The .other partly burnt, contained a head, arms., &nd a leg. A SENSATIONAL CRIME. Received August 25, 4.47 p.m. ROME, August 24. The tragedy at Palermo was a very sensational crime. TSje victim was a lithographer name£ Henri Francois. This man had helped one of his murderers, a man named gacco, to forge bank notes. The two men had a quarrel, wfeich ended in the murder of Francois. According to some accounts all the men belong to the "Maffia" society. It was suspected th&t the victim wished to divulge certain gecrets.
