RACING.
MARTON ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the first day's events at the Marton Jockey Club's •annual hack race meeting, to be run on September 4th and sth, will close with the secretary, Mr Arthur Way, at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday next. Entries for the Maiden Hate will close on Tuesday next, August 27' hj, at 8.30 p.m. RANGITIKEI NOMINATIONS. Nominations for all events to be run at the Spring Meeting of the Ranigitkei Racing Club, at Bulls, on September 18th and 19th, will close with the Secretary, Mr H. A. Goodall Bulls, at 9 o'clock this evening. Owing to the Premier's attitude against the double totalisator the Marton Jockey Club have decided to abandon the double machine at their forthcoming meeting.
