SALE OF OIL PAINTINGS.

At their rooms, Perry Street, on Saturday next, Messrs R. E. Howell and Co., Ltd., will offer at auction, on account of Mr Chas, Blomfield, the well-known Auckland artist, a large consignment of oil paintings. The subjects are popular ones, and are executed in Mr Blomfield's best style, depicting New Zealand scenery —bush, lake and mountain—in all its grandeur and beauty. Other subjects include New Zealand fauna and flora, and also painted mirrors done in enamel colours. Particulars of the subjects will be found in another column.
