KOPUARANGA.
. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Poultry farmers find it very difficult to protect "eggs and young birds from stoats and weasels. It is surprising the number of eggs a stoat or a weasel will destroy. I am informed that a much larger area of land is to be cultivated this season than was the case last year. The Social Committee held a social and dance on Thursday evening last, and in spite of the inclement weather about twenty-two couples were present.
