FOOTBALL.
THE NEW ZEALAND PROFESSIONAL TEAM. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received August 19, 10.18 a.m. SYDNEY, August 19. Both papers warmly praise the New Zealanders' forward play, and consider that, with a little more practice, the team wilJ prove a very strong combination. Noticeable features of their Saturday's play were the fairness of their tactics, and the clean manner in which they played." Mr B. I. Swannell (the ex-English player) says a little practice together will enable the New Zealanders to prove what they claim to be —thoroughly representative of New Zealand football.
