TURF NOTES. (By Zetland.) WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB'S MEETING. The second annual Steeplehase Meeting of the Wairarapa Hunt Club will take place at the Clareville course this afternoon. Good fields are expected to line out in every event, and there are sure to be some spirited contests during the afternoon. Several bookmakers will be in attendance so those who wish to support their fancies will be accommodated in this respect. Despite the recent wet weather, the racing track is in good order, and the general arrangements being in good hands, the meeting should be a very successful one.
