The Preliminary draft of the German Navy estimates for 1908 includes the first instalments for tw-o battleships and a cruiser, all of the largest type. By 1908 five battleships of she Deutschland class will be completed for sea. At present only the Deutschland and Pommeru are in commission, and the Hanover will be ready by the .autumn. It is hoped that the first full division of battleships of 18,000 tons or upwards will be afloat by 1910.
